What we do
TEACH CONSERVATION PROGRAMS
We have numerous programs we teach everyday to divers and non divers from around the globe. Coral restoration, Marine debris clean up, Project aware, Shark Awareness, Lionfish Eradication, and Sharks 4 kids. Our goal is to open these programs up to everyone free of charge to help spread the word.
CONDUCT CONSERVATION DIVES
The next step is to actually take divers out to conduct coral plantings, shark awareness, marine debris clean ups and lionfish eradication. This allows divers and non divers to actually witness and participate in these activities. Getting “hands on” produces an amazing connection to each cause.
TRAIN INSTRUCTORS FOR DIVEHEART
Diveheart is non profit organization that trains adaptive divers. All adaptive divers from hearing impaired to quadriplegic divers need multiple certified instructors and buddys to help them dive. Each diver learns about conservation through instructors that we train for this specific purpose.
RUN FIELD TRIPS FOR SCHOOLS
We’ve created both diving and snorkeling programs with the local schools that allows the students to join us in field trips to the reefs where the learn about protecting the oceans eco-systems.
CERTIFY LOCAL MARINE SCIENCE STUDENTS
Coral Shores high school runs an amazing Marine Science program. All students must be scuba certified to be accepted into the program. We teamed up with the school to offer all students “pro bono” certifications.
RUN AN “ECO-SEA CAMP FOR KIDS”
From June-August we run 3 camps for kids. Each camp certifies the campers in scuba and also Coral restoration, shark awareness and dive against debris. Each camper leaves with a new respect and passion for our ocean environment.
